ERT Training in York, February 25, 2012

ERT (Early Response Team) training will be held on February 25, 2012 at Zion UMC in York, PA.

The all-day training will certify you to participate in disaster response after the disaster area is deemed safe by authorities.  The cost is $25 and includes a student manual, lunch and snacks.  Bring a laptop if you have it and a flash drive with the manual loaded will be provided.

This training is for people interested in helping with relief efforts following disasters.  People taking this training are expected to be able to serve on teams on short notice.

A background check is required prior to attending the class.  Go to the conference website, www.susumc.org and click on Safe Sanctuaries for instruction on completing the background check.
